WHAT WE DO

BEED Engineering is a MBE professional consulting engineering firm providing building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering design and consulting services. We are based in Palm Bay, Central Florida.

THE NAME

BEED stands for Building Energy Efficiency Design. According to the USDOE Buildings Energy Data Book, about 39% of the annual energy consumption in the USA comes from buildings. This translates into billions of dollars in energy cost. Consequently, even a small amount of energy reduction would yield an appreciable amount of monetary   savings. In addition to the savings in energy and money, efficient buildings also help in minimizing greenhouse gas emissions and the resulting global warming. Therefore, pursuing building energy efficiency is a step in the right direction!

At BEED Engineering, building energy efficiency is very important to us, so we look for opportunities to always design the most energy efficient, affordable, serviceable, and economic MEP systems for our clients.

THE PEOPLE

We are hardworking and experienced professionals with expertise in a wide range of industries including laboratory and research, healthcare, industrial, data centers, education, commercial, municipal, residential, automotive, food service, and LEED  buildings. Our founding principal, Michael K. Frempong is a professional engineer and LEED AP BD+C accredited professional with over 20 years of experience in consulting engineering. ​Combined, our staff bring about 100 years of design and consulting engineering experience to the table and have a proven track record of solving building MEP systems problems.
